www.dadaabcamps.com aimed at showing current events at Dadaab refugee camps. It has so many features that reflect the status of the three camps that are Hagadera, Dagahaley and IFO has a column in the web. The web also educates the community on issues affecting their daily lives like risks of FGM and consequences of GBV- Gender based violence in relation to HIV/AIDS. Issues pertaining, the securities of the camp are also addressed in the web. The web also serves as a tool of campaign as it addresses emergencies. Every refugee has the right to take part and contribute articles and views. We also aim to advertise upcoming businesses as well as existing business. We give chance to job seekers to know if any vacancies are available at any None Governmental Organizations (NGO) in the camps. Furthermore we hope to create job opportunities for youth out of education to join the field of Mass Media other then wasting their time. Donors and well wishers are welcomed to support the progress of the web for thousands of refugees at Dadaab refugee camps.
